Emergency osteopathy

An emergency osteopathic consultation refers to rapid intervention for acute and disabling pain that disrupts daily life without endangering the vital prognosis.

=> More infos

Our osteopaths, as primary care practitioners, intervene to restore mobility and relieve pain, available 7 days a week.

For what types of symptoms?

Lumbago, torticollis, migraines, sciatica, costalgia, coccydynia after childbirth, any pain resulting from the after-effects of falls or light shocks.

The symptoms leading to an osteopathic emergency are varied, and this list only includes the most frequently reported by patients.

When to consult?

See you as soon as pain interferes with your daily activities, such as work, movement or sleep.

How does the emergency consultation take place?

The osteopath carries out a history and a clinical examination, in order to exclude an organic pathology and to establish a diagnosis of the structures restricting mobility explaining the symptom. The treatment consists of the use of different manual, muscular, tissue or joint techniques to improve the patient’s mobility.

When not to consult?

In the event of a medical emergency (chest pain with malaise, major trauma with loss of consciousness, flu syndrome with fever and new acute abdominal pain) it is essential to contact 112 or go to the emergency room.

Manon Cottet

Osteopath
cottet@osteo7-7.ch
Born in 1991, Manon joined the second year of the HES Osteopathy course in 2015 and will complete her Masters in 2020. A lifelong sportswoman and special education teacher by training, Manon has found osteopathy to be a way of combining these two interests by looking at biomechanics in the patient's bio-psycho-social context. It was with this in mind that, during her studies, she focused her Bachelor's and then her Master's work on chronic complaints. During her studies, she learnt a wide range of techniques (structural, functional, cranial and visceral), which Manon makes a point of choosing carefully in order to offer each patient personalised, coherent treatment. Her various training courses have taught her to adapt her treatment to both the elderly and sportspeople. Manon speaks French, English and German. Book online

Stéphane Kaczorowski

Osteopath
kaczorowski@osteo7-7.ch
Born in Grenoble in 1987. He has always been attracted to the world of health care and was convinced from an early age of the relevance of direct and remote mechanical, neurological, and vascular action in the prevention and treatment of various functional disorders as a complement to the classic allopathic approach. It was natural for him to turn to complementary therapies, and more particularly osteopathy, after a year of richly instructive medical studies After graduating from the Institut Supérieur d'Ostéopathie de Lyon-Limon Est in June 2012, he immediately started practicing as a freelancer in Grenoble before his life project and his passion, hockey, led him to the French-speaking part of the country. This is how he joined the Osteo 7/7 team in 2016 to bring his energy, his good nature, and his usual joviality. The combination of his professional practice and his personal pleasure in coaching sports teams (mainly ice hockey and inline hockey) of all levels (from the 4-year-old beginner to high-level athletes such as the French Inline Hockey team or the Ours de Villard de Lans team playing in the first division of French Ice Hockey) has led him to develop a pragmatic osteopathy, using the tools at his disposal (articular, myofascial, fluidic, DeJarnette techniques, etc.) most adapted to the immediate needs of the patient in order to allow a return to play / to normal activity as quickly as possible, without omitting in-depth work to reduce the occurrence of these disorders. A relationship of trust and transparency for quality support. I use a range of techniques adaptable to each patient, ranging from myofascial to structural, visceral or cranial treatment.
