Osteo 7/7

News: Discover our interviews

Three friends, practising independently since 2006, decided at the end of April 2012 to join forces to provide an osteopathic service “at the station”, and greater flexibility in consultations every day of the year.

History…

What we offer

The Osteo 7/7 team welcomes you every day of the year.

We offer daily availability for rapid treatment of patients with acute symptoms. We also provide follow-up care for chronic conditions as a standard osteopathic practice. As a first line professional, our team of qualified osteopaths ensures a safe and caring treatment. If your problem does not fall within our area of expertise, we will refer you to the appropriate doctor or health professional. Osteo 7/7 also participates in the training of tomorrow’s osteopaths by supervising the training of Heds-Fribourg master students.

Our therapeutic approach

Osteo 7/7 brings together some thirty osteopaths in Geneva and Lausanne and offers a diversity of therapeutic approaches (structural and functional). We provide comprehensive osteopathic treatment for all age groups. On request, we also offer specific pelvic-perineological, paediatric, occlusal-orthodontic, sports and somato-emotional treatment.
During the treatment our practitioners ensure that you understand and consent to the proposed treatment protocol.

The Osteo 7/7 team

Since its inception in 2012, our team has grown to include over thirty therapists.

Laure-Isabelle Kazemi

Ostéopathe dipl. CDS
kazemi@osteo7-7.ch
Unavailable on weekends. Please call to make an appointment on weekdays. Laure-Isabelle Kazemi graduated from the Swiss School of Osteopathy in 2006 and passed the CDS exam in 2011. From 2006 to 2008 she worked as an assistant with Hendrick Vlek in Sion, which allowed her to develop her tissue practice. From 2008 to 2010, she worked with Annick Ferreiro in Lausanne. In 2011, she decided to open her own practice in Lausanne. Together with Tibor Csernay and Christophe Guinand, she created Osteo 7/7 in April 2012. She quickly became interested in perinatal care and pelvi-perineology and uro-gynaecology. From 2006 to 2008, she followed training courses on pregnancy and obstetrics. Between 2012 and 2014, she followed a post-guidance training course in paediatric osteopathy offered in Friburg and organised by the FSO. From 2009 onwards, she attended training courses on the use of endocavitary techniques for disorders of the small male and female pelvis. In 2016, together with two other colleagues, she created an osteopathic working group in pelvi-perineology and uro-gynaecology, to advocate for, discuss, and defend this practice. Her future plans are a CAS in sexology and to develop the exchange group she has created. Because of her specialisation and her approach to the uro-gynaecological and rectal spheres, she is confronted with problems that are not sufficiently addressed in daily life. She enjoys the multidisciplinary approach to this area and the networking with different specialists. During her consultation, she emphasises the importance of knowing and understanding one's own body; she makes the patient active in his or her own healing through lifestyle changes, whether emotional, physical, or nutritional.

After finishing his studies and working as a locum, he opened his own practice in his native region. For 5 years, he gained experience and autonomy in various fields and with all types of patients. He also participated in a humanitarian mission in Sao Tome and Principe in Africa, where he provided osteopathic care in the hospital, and had the opportunity to treat many newborns from their earliest days. This experience was very important and enriching for him, giving him the desire to explore new horizons. In 2018, he embarked on a new project and joined the Osteo 7/7 team in Lausanne, before passing his CDS 1 Intercantonal exam. Passionate about sport, he has followed several training courses to perfect his skills in this field, obtaining university diplomas in Sports Osteopathy and Emergencies and field care in sports. Mélanie Gogniat

Ostéopathe dipl. CDS
gogniat@osteo7-7.ch
Born in 1980 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. After passing her baccalaureate and travelling at length, she left the snowy lands of home to start the School of Osteopathy in Belmont-sur-Lausanne. These five years of study were rich in discoveries and full of meaning for her. The functioning of the body, the way to regain health and the vision of osteopathy which considers the human being as a whole, have fascinated her. After graduating in 2005 and practising for two years as an osteopathic assistant, she opened her own practice in La Chaux-de-Fonds where she worked for eight years. She then founded her family in Lausanne, and in 2016, she came to work with the Osteo 7/7 team, where she is very happy. She has a rather gentle approach to her work, combining the techniques she learned during her studies with those acquired during her many continuing education courses. Among others: • Functional emergency techniques (with Robert Rousse) • Tissue approach to osteopathy (with Pierre Tricot) Postural concept osteopathy (with Philippe Toussirot) Global reflex techniques Fascial approach to osteopathy. (with Serge Paoletti) For many years she has also practised and taught yoga and mindfulness meditation. These two techniques help her to deepen her perceptions every day and thus improve the quality of her treatments through greater presence and a better ability to listen and concentrate.

Stéphane Kaczorowski

Ostéopathe dipl. CDS
kaczorowski@osteo7-7.ch
Born in Grenoble in 1987. He has always been attracted to the world of health care and was convinced from an early age of the relevance of direct and remote mechanical, neurological, and vascular action in the prevention and treatment of various functional disorders as a complement to the classic allopathic approach. It was natural for him to turn to complementary therapies, and more particularly osteopathy, after a year of richly instructive medical studies After graduating from the Institut Supérieur d'Ostéopathie de Lyon-Limon Est in June 2012, he immediately started practicing as a freelancer in Grenoble before his life project and his passion, hockey, led him to the French-speaking part of the country. This is how he joined the Osteo 7/7 team in 2016 to bring his energy, his good nature, and his usual joviality. The combination of his professional practice and his personal pleasure in coaching sports teams (mainly ice hockey and inline hockey) of all levels (from the 4-year-old beginner to high-level athletes such as the French Inline Hockey team or the Ours de Villard de Lans team playing in the first division of French Ice Hockey) has led him to develop a pragmatic osteopathy, using the tools at his disposal (articular, myofascial, fluidic, DeJarnette techniques, etc.) most adapted to the immediate needs of the patient in order to allow a return to play / to normal activity as quickly as possible, without omitting in-depth work to reduce the occurrence of these disorders.

Manon Cottet

Ostéopathe dipl. HES
cottet@osteo7-7.ch
Born in 1991, Manon joined the second year of the HES Osteopathy course in 2015 and will complete her Masters in 2020. A lifelong sportswoman and special education teacher by training, Manon has found osteopathy to be a way of combining these two interests by looking at biomechanics in the patient's bio-psycho-social context. It was with this in mind that, during her studies, she focused her Bachelor's and then her Master's work on chronic complaints. During her studies, she learnt a wide range of techniques (structural, functional, cranial and visceral), which Manon makes a point of choosing carefully in order to offer each patient personalised, coherent treatment. Her various training courses have taught her to adapt her treatment to both the elderly and sportspeople. Manon speaks French, English and German.

Igor Markov

Ostéopathe dipl. CDS
markov@osteo7-7.ch
On Holydays until December 31, 2024. Born in Russia, he spent his childhood in Moscow and moved to the French Alps at the age of 14. He continued his studies and obtained the diploma of osteopath DO from the Centre Européen d'Enseignement Supérieur d'Ostéopathie (Ceeso Lyon) in 2015. He immediately started working in osteopathic offices in Geneva and was lucky enough to join Osteo 7/7 in 2017, which allowed him to obtain the Swiss diploma of osteopathy CDS. Practising osteopathy on a permanent basis has enabled him to develop experience in the multi-faceted care of patients of all ages, both acute and chronic, pregnant women and children. He is also trained in the treatment of high-level sportsmen and women. He considers the body as a whole and refines his observation using the tools incorporated during the posturology training courses. He uses structural and soft tissue techniques on the whole body (cranial, visceral, articular, musculo-fascial sphere). He also knows how to take advantage of kinesiology therapeutic taping techniques when the patient's complaint requires it. Calm and thoughtful by nature, the essence of his approach lies in listening to the other person and providing an effective gesture to correctly stimulate the patient's healing processes. He speaks French, Russian, English and understands Spanish.

Solano Barreto

Ostéopathe dipl. HES
barreto@osteo7-7.ch
Solano Barreto graduated in 2021 from the HES-SO Osteopathy programme in Fribourg. Born in Geneva and of South American and Ticino origin, he speaks French, Italian and Spanish and understands English well. He is passionate about sport, both in practice, notably running and cycling, and as a supporter. During his training, he did several internships which gave him experience with different types of problems. In 2018, he worked in the private practice of the osteopath Hendrik Vlek in Sion. At the beginning of 2019, he took care of patients with multiple rheumatic pathologies during his internship at the rheumatology unit of the HUG. Still at the HUG, he gained experience in the care of infants during his internship in the development unit. Finally, in 2020 and 2021, he gained experience in working in osteopathic clinics, which developed his management of emergency cases and acute pain. He works with tissue and functional techniques as well as structural techniques. This varied approach allows him to adapt to the needs of each patient. Following a successful internship in spring 2021, he joined Osteo 7/7 with eagerness, a love of teamwork, and a desire for therapeutic dialogue.

Mathilda Rusconi

Ostéopathe dipl. HES
rusconi@osteo7-7.ch
On Holydays until December 31, 2024. Mathilda Rusconi studied osteopathy at the HES-SO in Fribourg, graduating in 2022. Ever since she was a child, she has been interested in the life sciences, with a particular fascination for dinosaur bones. This scientific curiosity later led her to study biology at university, before switching to osteopathy out of an interest in the medical field and the therapeutic relationship that this profession offers. During her studies, she worked as a nursing assistant at the Clinique Valmont in Montreux, which enabled her to develop her knowledge of orthopaedics and neurology. During her training, she undertook a number of internships, notably at the HUG in rheumatology and neonatology. The latter experience reawakened her interest in infant care. A gymnast since the age of 6, it was through gymnastics that she learnt about flexibility, discipline, balance and precision. Qualities that she believes are essential for optimal patient care. A good listener, empathetic and keen to offer a quality treatment plan tailored to each patient, she uses structural, functional, visceral or cranial techniques that she chooses and adjusts to the patient's needs. Mathilda speaks French and English.

Jules Prefol

Osteopath dipl. CRS
prefol@osteo7-7.ch
Born in 1992, Jules graduated from the Centre International D'Ostéopathie de Saint Etienne (CIDO, France) in 2016. The following year, he acquired a university degree in the field of alpine ski training (2017) at the STAPS University of Grenoble. Thanks to this, he has been assisting the French Ski-Cross team, with whom he shares a great passion, since 2017, during training sessions and international competitions. Very concerned by the monitoring of food, he followed a training course in nutrition and obtained a university diploma in micro-nutrition in 2020. As a sportsman from a very young age, playing many sports, he was naturally interested in movement and human physiology, which led him to the profession of osteopathy. Early on, he became very interested in anatomy, which he has never stopped studying. After two years of practice in his own office in the ski resort of Les Saisies (Savoie), he decided to come and work at Osteo 7/7 for the values of concerted teamwork and the benefits of sharing. In addition to his initial training, Jules has completed post-graduate training (structural, fascial, De Jarnette approach) to complete his range of osteopathic techniques. Regarding his practice: He has above all a global approach, using all osteopathic techniques, both structural and functional. He knows how to adapt to each patient to find the best solutions to resolve the various complaints. A good listener, empathetic and caring, he can treat a varied patient base, of all ages, from infants to adults/sportsmen and the elderly. He speaks French and English.

She then went to Paris to take her osteopathy diploma at the Ecole Supérieure d'Ostéopathie, before opening a practice in the Paris suburbs for over two years. She chose the profession of osteopathy at the age of 12, following consultations that immediately intrigued and fascinated her. As she tells her patients every day, the human body is an extraordinary war machine. Well-being, good health, helping people and caring for others are her main objectives. These two years working in Paris have enabled her to gain a great deal of experience in her practice, thanks to a very varied patient base: from infants to the elderly, including sportspeople, hyperalgesic or chronic patients, and patients with multi-morbidities. She knows how to adapt her practice to each of her patients, using functional, visceral, cranio-sacral and structural techniques, and explaining the entire consultation to them. Stella Golay

Ostéopathe dipl. HES
golay@osteo7-7.ch
Stella Golay was born in Switzerland and did all her training there. She began by taking the Maturité Fédérale (a Swiss school-leaving certificate), then went on to obtain a bilingual (French-German) Master's degree in Osteopathy from the HES-SO in Fribourg. This training enabled her to develop her theoretical knowledge, critical mind and structure. She was also able to hone her therapeutic touch and intuition thanks to the experienced osteopaths who supervised her during her internships. Stella uses a wide range of treatments, including cranio-sacral, visceral, myo-fascial and manipulative techniques. Her vision is to have as many therapeutic tools at her disposal as possible, so that she can adapt the treatment to each patient. She places great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, believing it to be a vital element in quality care. Her watchwords are listening and respect. Everyone is welcome, whatever their ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. For the time being, she prefers to see only children aged 3 and over, while waiting to do post-training to acquire more knowledge in the paediatric field. However, having completed two placements in EMS, she is used to dealing with the elderly and will provide appropriate and safe care. As far as her hobbies are concerned, she loves spending time in nature, and is a great fan of anything artistic, whether it's dancing, singing, painting, theatre or anything else. Stella will be delighted to welcome you for a consultation in French (mother tongue), German or English.
