Shania Genhart

Shania grew up in Antigua and Barbuda, an island in the Caribbean, and moved to Europe at age 18. She obtained her osteopathic diploma from the Centre Européen d’Enseignement Supérieur d’Ostéopathie (Ceeso Paris) in 2022. Dance has played a central role in her life from an early age (ballet, modern jazz, dancehall, salsa), which has enabled her to deepen her understanding of her own body so that she can assess and restore movement in her patients’ bodies.
She completed several internships in various hospitals and clinics during her training to broaden her experience. Notably, in 2021, she joined the gynecological and obstetric emergency team at the Kremlin-Bicêtre Hospital in Paris. In 2022, she treated patients in the emergency department of the Poissy Hospital, enriching her management of acute pain. In the same year, she practiced at the Saint-Germain-en-Laye Hospital in sports medicine. Since then she has worked in independent practices in neighbouring France and joined the Osteo 7/7 team in 2023.
During treatments, Shania uses a range of techniques adapted to the patient’s needs.
Her approach is predominantly gentle using rhythmic mobilizations, soft tissue techniques, spinal manipulation and visceral techniques, so that the body restores its own balance.
Passionate about the human body, she was drawn to osteopathy because of its holistic approach to health. Taking each patient’s lifestyle into account is an integral part of her treatment process; she involves the patient in his or her own healing process.
Shania is fluent in French and English.
