Igor Markov

Born in Russia, he spent his childhood in Moscow and moved to the French Alps at the age of 14.
He continued his studies and obtained the diploma of osteopath DO from the Centre Européen d’Enseignement Supérieur d’Ostéopathie (Ceeso Lyon) in 2015. He immediately started working in osteopathic offices in Geneva and was lucky enough to join Osteo 7/7 in 2017, which allowed him to obtain the Swiss diploma of osteopathy CDS.

Practising osteopathy on a permanent basis has enabled him to develop experience in the multi-faceted care of patients of all ages, both acute and chronic, pregnant women and children. He is also trained in the treatment of high-level sportsmen and women.
He considers the body as a whole and refines his observation using the tools incorporated during the posturology training courses.
He uses structural and soft tissue techniques on the whole body (cranial, visceral, articular, musculo-fascial sphere).
He also knows how to take advantage of kinesiology therapeutic taping techniques when the patient’s complaint requires it. Calm and thoughtful by nature, the essence of his approach lies in listening to the other person and providing an effective gesture to correctly stimulate the patient’s healing processes.

He speaks French, Russian, English and understands Spanish.
