Mathilda Rusconi

Mathilda Rusconi studied osteopathy at the HES-SO in Fribourg, graduating in 2022. Ever since she was a child, she has been interested in the life sciences, with a particular fascination for dinosaur bones. This scientific curiosity later led her to study biology at university, before switching to osteopathy out of an interest in the medical field and the therapeutic relationship that this profession offers.
During her studies, she worked as a nursing assistant at the Clinique Valmont in Montreux, which enabled her to develop her knowledge of orthopaedics and neurology. During her training, she undertook a number of internships, notably at the HUG in rheumatology and neonatology. The latter experience reawakened her interest in infant care.
A gymnast since the age of 6, it was through gymnastics that she learnt about flexibility, discipline, balance and precision. Qualities that she believes are essential for optimal patient care. A good listener, empathetic and keen to offer a quality treatment plan tailored to each patient, she uses structural, functional, visceral or cranial techniques that she chooses and adjusts to the patient’s needs.
Mathilda speaks French and English.
