Mélanie Gogniat

Born in 1980 in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

After passing her baccalaureate and travelling at length, she left the snowy lands of home to start the School of Osteopathy in Belmont-sur-Lausanne. These five years of study were rich in discoveries and full of meaning for her. The functioning of the body, the way to regain health and the vision of osteopathy which considers the human being as a whole, have fascinated her.
After graduating in 2005 and practising for two years as an osteopathic assistant, she opened her own practice in La Chaux-de-Fonds where she worked for eight years. She then founded her family in Lausanne, and in 2016, she came to work with the Osteo 7/7 team, where she is very happy.

She has a rather gentle approach to her work, combining the techniques she learned during her studies with those acquired during her many continuing education courses.
Among others:
• Functional emergency techniques
(with Robert Rousse)
• Tissue approach to osteopathy (with Pierre Tricot)
Postural concept osteopathy (with Philippe Toussirot)
Global reflex techniques
Fascial approach to osteopathy.
(with Serge Paoletti)

For many years she has also practised and taught yoga and mindfulness meditation.
These two techniques help her to deepen her perceptions every day and thus improve the quality of her treatments through greater presence and a better ability to listen and concentrate.
